Art and Craft, and the Places Where They Meet

In this volume from our second issue we discuss the question of craft, and consider when a craft becomes an art and how much craft is intrinsic in any art form. The subject of arts and crafts is, on the one hand, very narrow, on the other hand, very controversial. For example, when a primitive man invented an instrument of labor, did he invest some sacred meaning in it, then can we consider these tools as art? Is art a more cultural phenomenon: decoration?
